CNC Horizontal Milling Capabilities 4th axis, (Four)

 Pyramid has four large high speed horizontal milling centers. The machining envelope size is 35.5 x 31.5 x 38.5 inches with a 38.3 inches diameter swing.

These machining centers are capable of machining multiple surfaces at one time. Our newest machine has a 180 tool changer capacity which allows us to pick a tool from a library of tools stored in the machine. This reduces programming time, set-up time which, in turn, shortens lead times to the customer.

Most machined components can be machined in two operations. Pyramid’s horizontal milling centers have twin pallet systems which allows us to machine a part while loading or unloading another.
