Specializing in quality complex close tolerance machining has always been a key element to the success of Pyramid Precision Machine, Inc. Our dedication to overall quality has enabled PPMI to become a registered AS9100 REV B/ISO 9001:2008 facility.

Pyramid Precision Machine, Inc. regularly practices scheduled calibration of quality measurement equipment, preventive and corrective action, control of non-conforming product, and in process and/or final inspection of product.

PPMI production and quality staff work closely with our customers to ensure all their requirements are fully met. We interface closely with their engineering especially at the prototype stage to ensure that design intent can be met and that economical production techniques are developed to ensure that manufacturing costs are minimized.

We use quality materials to accentuate the precision and quality expected of an industry leader.  All of Pyramid’s supply base are approved by Pyramid’s Quality Management System and our key suppliers are monitored quarterly for quality and delivery performance.

Quality Management Systems

Pyramid’s Quality department utilizes three DCC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) which are programmed to monitor product conformance throughout the manufacturing process. The 2 Mitutoyo Stratos have a 28”x40”x20” capacity and both are equipped with thermal compensation sensors. The Brown and Sharp 5-7-5 CMM has a 20”x28”x20” capacity and is supported by Statistical Analysis software which allows real time process capability analysis. All three CMMs are fully programmable and are equipped with Reinshaw rotating probe heads.
